Expected use
This kit is mainly used for quantitative determination of Ferr in human serum.

Ferritin (Ferr) is the most iron-rich protein in the human body. It consists of a protein core containing iron and 24 identical subunits. Determination of serum ferritin content for the diagnosis of iron deficiency anemia and differential diagnosis with other types of anemia have some reference value for liver cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer and other malignancies.
Detection principle
The kit uses a sandwich method. Microplates were coated with one anti-Ferr to make a solid-phase antibody and the other labeled with HRP into anti-Ferr-HRP. Ferr (standard or test sample) is added to the wells coated with the antibody to form a complex called antibody-antigen-HRP labeled antibody. The unbound anti-Ferr-HRP was removed after the immunoreaction, the luminescence value was measured with a photon counter after adding the luminescent substrate. With the increase of Ferr concentration, the luminescence value gradually increases and keep a linear relation. Use double logarithmic fitting method, the instrument software will automatically calculate the Ferr content of the sample.
